Custom Pet Portrait & Personal Commission Requests

I look to photographs of both significant and everyday moments for images that reveal insight, emotion, or narrative. Sometimes this emerges through the image as a whole; other times it is discovered within a small detail. While each painting begins with a photograph, I selectively alter and emphasize elements to bring attention to what feels most meaningful—a facial expression, an interaction, a gesture, or a relationship to the surrounding environment.

Commissions are selectively accepted based on availability and subject matter. Every commission is a collaborative process. You will begin by sharing an idea along with photographs that may serve as source material. From there, we will work together to develop an image that best expresses your intentions and transforms the moment into a unique painting or drawing.

Smaller commission options begin around $250. Larger or more detailed works are quoted individually. Final pricing is based on size, complexity, medium, and timeline.

How The Commission Process Works

2. Share your ideas and reference images

3. Jessie reviews the project

4. If it is a good fit, she follows up with pricing and timeline. If it is not a good fit, she will explain why, and possibly find solutions to modify the project

5. A deposit begins the commission
